Download Torrents without a client

Torrent2Exe is a simple web application which lets you download a torrent without the need of client on your Windows PC. An executable is generated from a link to the torrent or a torrent file on the disk which automatically downloads your torrent. This helps you to send the exe to your friends who do not have to bother to install a bittorrent client or search for the torrent. Torrent2Exe also provides with links which helps you to publish them on the web so that users can download the torrents without clients.

Now lets try to download a torrent using Torrent2Exe. I choose to download CentOS (Community ENTerprise OS) 64 Bit DVD using torrent. I browsed to one of the download mirrors and copied the link address to the torrent.

Google Celebrates Pac-Man’s 30th Anniversary

Today Google is celebrating well known Pac-Man’s 30th release anniversary with Pac-Man’s playable doodle. Pac-Man an arcade game developed by Namco was first released in Japan on May 22, 1980.

image

I first played this game in 1987 when my Dad bought me a Nintendo NES also called Famicom (Family Computer) which was a 8 bit gaming console, now resting peacefully in some corner. I do not remember when was the last time I played, may be 10 years back :). This was my Dad’s favorite game ever. He would sit in front of TV with game controller in his hand for hours together, when he could find some time.

After having it on the Google home page, I thought of giving it a try. Cool I can play without even leaving Google's search page. And I can direct Pac-Man using arrow keys or even clicking my mouse. Some how I managed to get into second level but after losing all three lives, decided to leave it there.

Today might be the day when Google.com homepage will be banned at many workplaces :) though it is Saturday.

Play and Enjoy.
